DON’T CALL THE POLICE…Unless You Need a Hammer

Because of avoidable travesties like THIS, that lately seem to represent the majority of police interactions with the public, there are more organizations, like THIS popping up across the US. That’s a good thing.

I could, in this post, easily find and lay out for you reams of numbers and news headlines to back my statement that we need to DEFUND THE POLICE.

And if you can postpone your knee jerk reaction to those words, for a moment, I can also tell you that “defunding the police” doesn’t mean what you think it means.
