A few more things we want back, that Obama gave us:
Health care, social security, SNAP resources and heating assistance for our elders……..all because you wanted to buy yourself more friends at the top, and assure your family of the best of everything, like:
A parade for YOU to stroke your own inflated ego; a plate full of diamonds for Melania (Yeah. We can still find that photograph because you’ll probably pretend that you don’t remember); ski vacations for your kids, with all their attendant security, and privacy on their favorite ski slopes; sweatshops for Ivanka, here and overseas so that she can have her own designer line of clothes and purses; A border wall for you, so that you can be sure that we are decimating migrating animal species, and ensuring the murders of people fleeing political persecution, drug cartels, or just looking for a better life.
Notice no mention of a dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia or history book above.
Nothing that would have informed you, before the NATO summit in 2016, that no one at that summit owed us any money, because that’s not how NATO works; nothing that would have informed you that a travel ban was unconstitutional or that it was illegal for you to go on holding business investments, once you were President or that it’s illegal for you to tell other businessmen how to run their businesses, when some of their employees offend you by kneeling for the National Anthem.
Sadly, many assumed that you would have at least half a grasp of the meaning of the words of our Constitution, when you decided to run for President. A stupid assumption, obviously, since you brought no political experience to the table (unlike Hillary) and all of your dealings in businesses had either failed or failed to properly pay your contractors/employees/students:

Turns out you were exactly right to run as a Republican, because, as you said:

And now that they control Congress, I have no respect left for my government.
No respect left and no faith. I can have neither for a group of people (FORMERLY my government) that:
Would carry out the orders of a man who thinks that it is okay to take children from their parents and cage them, in order to coerce Democratic politicians into greenlighting his expensive and useless border wall; would cut into welfare programs of lower and middle class Americans, in order to give tax breaks to CEOs of large companies; would collude with another country in order to “win” his election for President; would undermine the authority of institutions important to the system of checks and balances in the US government; would silence women in government, and in the workplace; would sow divisiveness in America, rather than seeds of progress.
Therefore, it is with great PRIDE that I hereby renounce my US citizenship, and claim California for my Mother Country.
- California, that provides sanctuary to immigrants.
- California, whose Governor has created for us a financial surplus in our coffer.
- California that provides produce, dairy and meat to the world and is a financial donor state to the US.
- California that will never need for water, after we have severed ties with the US, because it is the US government that gives her blessing for Nestle to steal our Cherry Creek water.
- California who has made great strides in solar and has her own solar companies.
- California that has Silicon Valley that has ever enriched the US, financially and helped support her military and military spending.
- California that has Hollywood and Wine Country to continue to attract the tourist industry and a port bigger than Panama.
- California that is so far from DC that DC has long ignored the will of our people with impunity.
- California that is much closer to overseas trade routes with other countries, than DC, so that we could set tariffs punitive to the US, as the US has senselessly done to China and Mexico.
- California that already has excellent rapport with our global friends and neighbors, and will continue to do so, once those friends and neighbors are no longer treating and trading with the US……….

Postscript- 6/22/2018: In the past few days, since I wrote this, a new figure representing our national debt has come to light. I’m sure that I’m not alone in, feeling that this is just one more debt to society that the tRump administration needs to be made to repay.
