Police trying to identify gunman, motive in FedEx shooting

When all is said and done, and eight people are dead, does a motive really matter?

What if he’d just been fired by Fed Ex, the week before, and his wife (after the divorce that followed) had taken the kids and dog and packed up the one car they had and gone to marry his still employed, one time best friend, down the street?

What if on top of all that, he had always been mistreated by his former employers and former wife?

What if on top of all that he’d been abused as a child?

Would any or even ALL of those factors put together, make it any easier for the families of the 8 people killed to accept their losses?

Eight more people are dead now, and their families are ripped apart and overwhelmed by grief, as are any friends those eight people left behind, including pets.

Generally, in this era of Covid, none of us needs anymore reason to use people for target practice than what we have.

It’s called stress.

It’s getting to all of us. Some of us are letting our inner racists shine for all the world to see, as a reaction to the stress. Some are more stressed because they know that those who were
