Punch Your Pillow

That’s what my Mom told me once, when I was mad. Admittedly I was very young and still prone to tantrums.

It seems that a lot of police never outgrew the childish tantrum phase. People don’t realize that cops are human and get angry just like the rest of us. The trouble is that they have weapons, so that when they get agitated or angry, people get killed or seriously injured. Even if you’re innocent and simply in the general vicinity of the angry cop you’re not safe.

Police have NO legal obligation to protect YOU.

Their version of punching a pillow is using what’s called a non or “less than lethal” weapon.

Like rubber bullets, bean bag bullets are considered to be nonlethal or less lethal weapons. However, bean bag bullets also pose serious risks, including disabilities and death.
