Religion Or Empathy?

Here are the two million dollar questions that everyone is asking:

1. If you’re being a good person because of an offer of a Heavenly reward and or the threat of eternal “damnation”, are you really a good person?

2. Are we born with empathy or do compassion and empathy come only from a study of the tenets of a sacred text?
