Truth in Art

It’s often been said that art imitates life. Is it any wonder then, that we often see our greatest faults reflected back at us, in that art?

I was enjoying a guilty pleasure, of binge watching a favorite science fiction series, this past week, that I will call performance art. The show is actually called Sense8. When I got through it, I realized that it had portrayed a story as old as time itself.

It portrayed a small group of people being persecuted and oppressed for their differences. It didn’t matter that they were members of the human race, as much as any of the rest of us
