What We Deserve

Some people deserve gold medals and others deserve a punch in the nose.

There’s the person who came to our door one evening to let us know that the storm had just blown a tree through our car window. Yes, a tree… The whole tree had fallen and somehow landed not JUST on top of our van but also through the window of the van. Luckily it was night so we’d been nowhere near that “widowmaker” when it fell.

That person deserved a medal for being a good neighbor and letting us know.
