IT’S HAPPENINGGGG…..BUT SNOPES LIED??!!!

I’m a founding member of the Calexit movement, and know a lot of the important players well, and am getting to know more of them, as time goes on. None of us are getting any money from Russia for our efforts to liberate California. If we were, my family and I would have been able to buy our new home several years ago.

No, we struggled along, barely making ends meet, like everyone else, for over a decade, and just bought this new place, a couple weeks ago. Before that, we rented a couple homes (consecutively) in Petaluma, California. My closest ties to Russia were my grandparents on my Dad’s side, and they moved to America at a young age and passed on, long ago. I think that my grandfather sold shoes for a while, and then moved on to selling used cars.

My other grandparents left me a couple of trust funds that filled the gaps between my husband’s pay checks, and it was the liquidating of his Late Father’s estate, (recently) that allowed us to finally get the home of our dreams, and we’re going to have to keep working for many years to keep it.

Marcus Ruiz, President of our Northern California branch of the Calexit movement holds down a day job for one of California’s transit systems to pay his bills, Hannah Miyamoto practices law, and other members of the movement come from other middle class walks of life.

Other than the fact that we all share the daily struggle of having to pay our bills, we have little in common, but for this dream that California will one day be…
