Wishing You Windfalls

To all my liberal and California Nation supporting friends, I’m wishing you windfalls:

An unexpected double yolk in your morning egg.

A coffee or croissant that was “paid forward” or free to you.

A free item in your usual order, because you’ve been such a great customer.

Laden branches from your neighbor’s fruit tree, hanging over your side of the fence.

A larger than expected litter of bunnies or other young animals for those who raise them humanely.

Bountiful gardens in spite of the drought.

A discovery of laundry and dishes fairies in your home that got to those chores first, this time.

Hired help or trades person that arrives on time and does good work.

A slow and peaceful morning coffee and a great excuse to play hooky today with your kids.

An exactly right tool for the job at the right time.

A partner or other support person who offers to take the kids to the zoo or the park all day while you get a chance to shower ……..alone.

An awesomely fun hobby and time to engage in it.

A Christmas bonus EVERY YEAR FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE including in your PENSION.

Wishing is easy. Like prayer……. It’s too easy. It’s like a pitcher plant for humans that way.
