You may want to edit your story to START with that statement. It's really clear and to the point. Maybe even title your article something about setting them up for failure or something about how we're CREATING rape culture: Here's How We're STILL Creating Rape Culture. I've gotten pretty good at writing in a sort of diplomatic way that doesn't cause the knee jerk reaction that got everyone turned against you.
