Postal Nostalgia
Today seems like a good day for taking stock, just not in the way you think…
If this was a movie and I was the star, my character would be humorously breaking the fourth wall to suggest a flashback to the narrator/producer. So, Mr. Narrator, can we please have another look at that funny and completely insane thing I just wrote about numbers. According to Medium it was only a two minute read and should give you a chuckle to carry you through your day.
And then can we look at the poem that ended up carrying a message and what you thought of the message?
Are you as disturbed about the early indoctrination of consumerism feeding capitalism feeding into the chokehold of our corporatocracy that was meant to be a “democratic republic”?
Does anyone else see how we need to STOP indoctrinating our kids to so totally believe in the reliability and greatness of our nation that they never learn to think outside that box? Why shouldn’t we teach them to see how life for all could AND SHOULD be improved?
I’d point out that it’s taken us THIS LONG to come to the realization that our badged civil servants have developed a god complex and we’d do well to begin there, with some improvements as we’re improving in other aspects of life, as well.
But sometimes it’s less important to ruminate on the past and beat a few dead horses then it is to just be happy for a while. And sometimes it’s more important to sit down for tea with a friend…….
